Dr. Amir H Nejat is an Associate Professor at the Louisiana State University (LSU) Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry in New Orleans, Louisiana. He earned his DDS from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Iran. He completed his Master’s in Biomaterials at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, followed by a residency program in Prosthodontics at the LSU School of Dentistry. He received a Tylman Grant to conduct his research on the effect of aging and bonding on the fracture resistance of zirconia, and was awarded first place Tylman award for this project. His research primarily focuses on dental materials and their application in the field of prosthodontics.
