Privacy PolicyThe American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics ("the Academy") obtains information from its members and guests for the annual member dues and for registration at the Academy's annual scientific session. The Academy values its members and guests and respects their privacy. We collect member/guest information such as name, e-mail and postal addresses, phone and credit card numbers when you visit our secure website. The academy does not sell or give your personal information to third parties. When the Academy uses other companies to provide services for us, the Academy requires them to protect the confidentially of the personal information they receive: ie., Electronic transmission of credit card/contact information for payments. Member and guest entered information is accessible only by Academy managers, Treasurer, Secretary and Webmaster. The information is stored on a non-public secured site. Members can access a Membership page using their personal login and password codes. A member can only update their own contact information and only view other member's information when needing to get a phone number or an address of that member. The public does not have access to this information. Guests at the annual scientific session enter their own information electronically which goes to a non-public site that is accessible only by the Academy managers. Refund Policy: Annual Session Refunds must be requested at least one week prior to the start of the Annual Meeting. A $50 administrative fee will be withheld from all refunds except Student Refunds. |
