Time: Feb 21, 2026 3:00 PM - 3:45 PM
Speaker: Dr. Amir Nejat
Abstract:
Understanding the fundamental nature and behavior of dental materials is an integral part of the decision-making process. Proper selection of materials and knowledge of their limitations enhance clinical success. Dental materials have evolved alongside CAD/CAM technology at a relatively high pace. Clinicians now have access to a wide range of these materials, each with its own properties and specific instructions for use, which can be challenging to navigate. This presentation aims to provide an overview and simplified classification of the various restorative materials available, along with a discussion of their clinical implications.
Learning objectives:
- Understand the classification of indirect restorative materials.
- Understand the recent advances and current trends in the field of restorative materials
- Understand the clinical applications of different restorative materials.
