Register for Imagine USA Workshop: All-on-X Scan and Design Techniques with Medit and Exocad

This course introduces exocad's All-on-X implant workflow and includes instruction on
the use of the Medit i900 Intraoral Scanner. We will cover everything from choosing the
implant libraries, to setting the full row of teeth using exocad's Chain Mode to
designing the virtual gingiva and incorporating jaw motion data or utilizing the Virtual
Articulator to get the perfect occlusion for your patient.

Andy Huynh is the Imagine Academy Director. A graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, he has over 10 years' experience in the dental industry in both

This presentation will highlight the benefits of the N1 Implant systeem. The new simplistic and minimally invasive site preparation as well as implant design will be showcased and utilized. Utilization of the "one abutment-one time" concept involving the N1 base in both analog and digital workflows will be covered. Participants will be exposed to hands-on implant placement with these new innovations, as well as restorative innovations.

Dr. Birdi received his DMD with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan. He then moved to Minnesota to pursue post-graduate specialty training at the University of Minnesota in both periodontics and prosthodontics (6 years). He is a Fellow and previous Examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, and a Diplomate of both the American Board of Periodontology, and the American Board of Prosthodontics. Dr. Birdi is one of the very few board-certified dual specialists in periodontics and prosthodontics in North America, and the first and only specialist in the world to attain board certification in these two specialties in both the USA and Canada.

Dr. Birdi is also a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, a member of the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada, and a member of the American Academy of Periodontology. Furthermore, he is the current president of the Western Society of Periodontology and the president of the Vancouver District Dental Society.

He is a reviewer for the Journal of Oral Implantology, Clinical Advances in Periodontics, and the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants (JOMI). He has recently been appointed to the board of The Journal of Clinical and Practical Oral Implantology.

Dr. Birdi has academic affiliations at the University of British Columbia and the University of Minnesota, where he is involved in research projects and clinical trials. Dr. Birdi lectures internationally on perio-prosthetic implant therapy. Dr. Birdi also actively lectures both nationally and internationally in the fields of implant surgery and prosthetics, as well as esthetic dentistry.

Dr. Birdi is the co-founder of the Digital Dentistry Institute which is a global learning organization for his fellow dentists, and one of the largest dental educational organizations in Canada. He is also currently practicing at the BC Perio Dental Health & Implant Centres in Vancouver. His practice focuses on comprehensive periodontal and prosthetic treatment with a major focus on esthetics and implant dentistry.
