Nominating a Candidate
Baker Faculty Award Description
Nomination is initiated by an Academy or any faculty member by submitting a letter of nomination to the Chair of the Award Committee
Nominations should be sent by August 15 to receive consideration for the Award presented at the Academy's Annual Session the following February
To be eligible, a candidate:
- Must be a fixed prosthodontic faculty member of an accredited U.S. or Canadian dental school
- Must have been an undergraduate faculty for less than five years
- Can be an assistant or associate professor
Candidates should show evidence of:
- Commitment to fixed prosthodontic education

Excellence in teaching, demonstrated by:

Significant contribution to the field of fixed prosthodontics, demonstrated by:

Publications

Presentations
-
Organization memberships
The Award Committee will request from the candidate:
- Completion of a questionnaire from the Committee
- Curriculum vitae
- Course materials
- Confidential letter of support from the department head, chair, associate dean, or dean (sent directly to the Award Committee)
